The XLNTads Creator’s Advisory Board (CAB), made up of the online video stars you know and love from YouTube, Revver, MetaCafe, and other sites, has been busy this week!
Since we started XLNTads, we’ve been looking to the CAB to give us an insider’s point-of-view of consumer-generated advertising (CGA). Their input has helped us create an ideal community for users, and they are responsible for many of the features you will find on XLNTads.com when the beta launches in July.
In the CAB meeting this week, we talked about website design and structure as well as the use of music in CGA campaigns on the site. They know what makes a CGA campaign attractive, easy to use and fun, and they are helping us make sure what we offer on the site will attract the higest-quality creators and entries.
We also found out that our CAB members are spreading the word about our very own XLNTads contest and working on their own submissions. Creators, be sure to enter by the end of June for your chance to win $5,000!
Since we announced the CAB last week, we’ve seen extensive interest and coverage in the trade publications and blogs. Our own Angela Calman was even interviewed by BrandWeek Magazine for her take on how brands can take advantage of CGA in the most effective way.
