I don’t understand why you have 6 featured videos on the assignment contest page and then some of them weren’t picked on your blog even for honorable mention…It would seem to me that if they were “featured” on the webpage for the contest that they would at least get an honorable mention in this post…

really shocked at some of the selections, while Flash Mob was a great idea and well done video, others like Fells Point were laughably bad.

Thanks for your feedback, guys. We’re sorry we couldn’t pick everyone. While there were definitely a whole bunch of awesome videos, we were really looking at this assignment through the eyes of our clients. We want these series to be attached to advertising, and we chose the ones we thought best fit the model. It’s so hard for us to pick out just a few videos from so many great entries. In the end, though, the most ‘marketable’ videos won.
When we do ‘Amazing Pitch 3′, we’ll likely spell that out a bit more clearly. In the meantime, we’d really love to sell some of these series and score a big development deal for you, our creators.
