Brett - when we started out, it's true that we wanted to make TV-quality content for our clients. But once we got into it, we saw more and more videos that would be more fit for a 'viral'-type campaign. And then our clients started asking more and more for that as the buzz around that model keeps getting hotter in the marketplace and as they believe it to be a less-expensive outlet for their media.

You did right. That's what we asked for, and that's what they wanted.

As for posting to YouTube, we say specifically that we don't allow people to post their videos on sharing sites. If people do, that's of their own accord, no because we told them to. Brands are very careful about this and have a vested interest in protecting their brand image online and off. They do not plan on letting these videos loose in the wilds for free.

It's not about offending anyone its about XLTADS held on to it because you felt it wasnt right for Zorbeez which to me means you had discretion on the content. I was always under the assumption that these video's were being made solely on the purpose of TV advertisement. Which now I am understanding that it is not. If they wanted Youtube ads I would have geared my work that way. I didnt know that I could make an ad that would be for web viral use. I mean most people have posted their work on youtube and other sites such as youtube even before the clients chose a video. So to me that means they are getting free advertisement anyway.

Hi Carlos, the Bloody Good Zorbeez add was made by one of our creators, and we didn't make it live on the site because we thought it was questionable. But the brand loved it and thought it was funny. Obviously, it's a joke, right? We're in the business of sometimes making 'viral' videos and that was one we thought people would laugh at and pass around to their friends. Maybe we're wrong. But in the end, we didn't choose these finalists, Zorbeez did. I do sincerely apologize if it offended you!

There were better videos who were not chosen.
Bad decisions, I never imagine that a crime were a finalist, if I were a zorbeez customer I will never buy a towel with that crap ad. and wasn't posted, may be was submitted by xlntads or zorbeez friend?
this shows me the lack of professionalism in xlntads and their customers.
what target group are you reaching with a crime scene?
what target group will buy zorbeez.
think in that when selecting winners.

Congrats to the winners! There were a lot of great ones submitted. I didn't participate but I really dug all that stuff - talking towels, murder, hip hop - very cool. I am inspired.

P.S. - can I borrow one of your free zorbees? I make a mess every time I film one of these things :)

Bloody Good Zorbeez was submitted fairly early on, but we put a hold on it because we weren't sure that ZorbEEZ would be comfortable with it.... apparently they were!

Also, it is my belief that these 5 winners will receive $100 worth of Zorbeez products. I guess that's equivalent to about 24 jumbo cloths, 36 large cloths, and 6 Micromen dusters?
