@Jon - unfortunately, XLNTads doesn’t pick our ‘winners’. The brand does. Our clients hire us to get great creative, and you’re right, there are a lot of good ones, but at the end of the day they choose the videos that best fit their needs. We’re not a ‘contest’ per se, because we’re providing our clients a service. They sometimes pick videos that we’re not thrilled about either, but it’s not for us to say.

This really disappoints me. It’s not a terrible video by any means, but I saw at least 15 videos CLEARLY more deserving. No I’m not bitter that I didn’t win, I didn’t even enter. I just wonder what their process is for choosing the winners. It doesn’t give me any faith in XLNTads in general. I think if the format was different like if XLNTads picked the winners and then gave the client the best ones, that might be better.

I mean… he doesn’t even use a phone. Good video, sure. But I’m surprised that they’d pick that. I don’t know if a blind dog would be considered a hero… or a victim of OUTRAGEOUS phone bills.

Either way. Congrats, it was actually a really good, well put together piece, just a little surprised.
